As you can see Opodo, like Expedia, is an online trqavel agent offering the full range of travel services you would expect from your local high-street travel agent. The advantage of course is you can browse, choose and book online, all from the comfort of your home or office.
Flights, Hotels and City Breaks
Opodo has a good selection of ready made travel deals available directly from the Opodo home page. Choose qa cheap flight or an inexpensive hotel offer. When I reviewed the Opodo website when writing this there were some great City Breaks on offer at a good price to Amsterdam, Barcelona, New York and Prague. These offers chnge frequenly - remember the Opodo home page is like the front window of a high-street travel agent and you are seeing the posters and flash-cards but online.
Travel Guides
Opodo has a useful selection of travel guides. You just select a continent from a drop down list, then select a country, then select a destination..... immediately you are presented with a good travel guide expounding on all that resorts holiday highlights.
Convenience
Again, like Expedia, the main advantage of using an online travel agent like Opodo is in the convenience. From home you can browse travel guides, select holiday destinations and using Opodos flight and holiday search fine-tune a holiday that is right for you. You may or may not save money and may do better booking your flight, hotel or car-hire direct - however we only have so much time and the convenience of Opodo certainly has a value.
