Good Friend

Well, I mention my good friend many times in my writing and publishing, though no-one but me knows to WHICH good friend I am referring when I write - Oh, I do so enjoy this! .... :-) ..... So, perhaps it is neccessary for me to define just exactly what are the qualities that go to make someone a good friend?

Friendship

Friendship. Someone who cares about how I feel and I care about how they feel. I want to be better at caring for my friends. I want to be more pro-active.

Closeness and Intimacy

You can't be friends, let alone good friends if you are not close and sometimes intimate. By close and intimate I am not referring to a S##ual relationship (though this is not excluded) ... I mean ....... a close sharing of feelings.... an empathy for how the other person is feeling and an appropriate response to that.

Making Friends

Making friends can be as simple as being open to making friends........ I want to be better at that.

Finding Friends

How to find friends? How to find new friends? Well, go out and look for them! It sounds simple because it is...... When I am open to meeting new people and (possibly) making new friends it happens. Being open is part of how it works - ........ ?
