Paypal

Paypal is the financial processing arm of the mighty ebay. Payment through paypal is offered in almost every auction now that ebay runs and it is becoming almost essential to have a Paypal account to bid on items and pay when you win them or to sell items and receive payment.

Personally, I feel very uncomfortable with the virtual monopoly that is being created with the too close link of ebay and paypal and I prefer to keep options open for payments, both as a buyer AND as a seller.
