Being a good buyer on ebay is not just about getting the item for the lowest price possible, although of course this should be included in your strategy. Ebay is also a community where your standing in the community will depend on the feedback you get from other members.

eBay buying

Remember to play fair. If you bid and win an item you ABSOLUTELY must promptly pay for it. You entered a contract by bidding. If you pay promptly you are likely to get positive feedback which will help you if you ever decide to sell anything. Having several good feedback from successful buying transactions show you are trustworthy and understand the importance of completing a deal.

eBay sniping

Some people like to buy by bidding on an item at the last possible second of the ebay auction - known as sniping. There is nothing wrong with this and it can add immensely to the enjoyment of buying at auction on ebay - it becomes a game. I tend to buy like this and accept the times when I am outbid and don't get a chance to submit another bid - Oh well, there is always something else to snipe! :-)
